Theory of Life.

When things in your life seem, almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class
and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open Areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively
filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things - family,
children, health, Friends, and Favorite passions –
Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, Your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else --The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' He continued,
there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play With your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first --
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled
'I'm glad you asked.
It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
There’s always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

- i copied it from facebook.

“You know what’s sad about reading books? It’s that you fall in love with the characters. They grow on you. And as you read, you start to feel what they feel - all of them - you become them. And when you’re done, you’re never the same. Sure you’re still you, you look the same, talk in the same manner, but something in you has changed. Something in the way you think, the way you choose, sometimes, even the things you say may differ. But it all comes down to the state you go to after a nice novel. The after-feeling. It’s amazing, but somehow, you feel left alone by that world you were once in. It’s overwhelming. But it makes you sad. Cause for once you were this, this otherworldly being in… Never where, and then you suddenly have to say goodbye after a few weeks from when you read the last page. When you’ve recovered from that state. It’s just… quite sad.”
— Hunger Games

Actually.. I feel the same when I watch tv dramas or films. you just feel darn sad when it's gonna end. Like seriously. Ah, this quote is just so meaningful :') As I've told you in the previous posts, I'm currently reading Matt Dunn's The Accidental Proposal. I've done 5% of it ._. I think it's even lesser than that :O Sigh, I really want to read the boooook! But whenever I got back from school it's already 4.15pm and then lunch till 5. I barely have time to breathe when there's homework! Not much but you know what it is when you have homework :/ When I don't have homework I have no mood facing the book. 'Cause I prefer moving pictures      tv dramas :B excuses, I know. What to do.

Anyways, I wanted to talk about my school, but there's actually too much to talk about.
To make it short,

  1. I don't like one of the teachers.
  2. I'm doing quite well in school.*proud* :B
  3. I wanna be a good student throughout the year! *determined*
  4. I'm gonna focus in class and do well in exam.
  5. I'm gonna complete ALL assignments and homework given by teachers :D
The teacher said it's good for us to get a B. whyyyy oh whyy. A* is the target! I don't know whether it's possible for me 'cause I don't know the exam board and syllabus ._. GONNA WORK HARD HARD HARD! <3

miss you guys so much! IT'S BEEN A SUPER LONG TIME SINCE WE'VE SKYPE-D. Busy for exam, eh.

GOOD LUCK!! ALL THE BEST!!

love,
See Kee!

p/s: Film Studies trip's tomorrow! And it's actually a SPANISH FILM. gosh gonna stick my eyes to the subtitles for the whole day. DAIs.

it's monday!

and my mood isn't good today. gahh.

my mom says that at the end of october, we're gonna change the time by adding 1 hour :O
which means, when it's 12am, we'll change it to 1am. LESS ONE HOUR SLEEP </3
this is bad, really really bad. aww :'(

but! when it's spring, we have another additional one hour :D 'cause the time zone is back to normal.
