Omg i've nearly forgotten about this.
We went to the Magistrates' Court on Tuesday and Crown Court+Police Station on Wednesday.
i dont feel like talking about it already :/ but it's very interesting! okay i'll write about it. So in the Mags court, it was quite interesting, we got into a few courtrooms and listened to a few cases. About 4 cases. The first one was without the defendant so i think we were not meant to be in there. haha. but erm one of the cases were doing exactly what we learnt last 6 months! it's so touching (inappropriate word but oh well) to see the things we learned being put into practice and seeing everything real-life makes it even more interesting.
Then the crown court hears more serious cases and we went to the rape case. it wasnt very decent and the case delayed for 30 mins bcs of technical problem -.- so we sat there for nothing. haha. the defendant's family went "they dont look 18 to me". we had to be 18 bcs it's a rape case. i was waiting for the barristers (WIGS!) to advocate but didnt have enough time T__T the crown court is actually very daunting and intimidating. i felt quite scared actually. because the D's family was right behind us and well, they werent very welcoming. hahaha.
the police station is quite interesting as well. nothing much, we looked at the cells and knew more about wht a police does. also something we've learned in our lessons.
i just cant stop thinking about the debate :( why do i get stressed out so easily? sigh.
