It's the last day of June. Cant believe that we're already in the middle of 2013.
How quick time passes. I wonder if it will slow down a little. Perhaps that's a wishful thinking.
it just struck me to go back to my new year resolution and check whether or not it is in progress. I dare say that many of them are quite workable, and i DO follow what i planned. LOOK AT NUMBER 10. i guess it's time to panic already. T__T 45 more days. SO SCARED. i really really need my grades. I hope i can be eligible to apply for the top universities in the UK. I mean, imagine if im still in Malaysia. In order to study in the universities in the UK, i need good grades in SPM and A levels. Better grades that you can possibly think of, and perhaps, i wouldnt have the opportunity to study here because i know that i wouldnt be able to get the grades if im studying in Malaysia. everything would be so different. And here, we could apply for student loan. I think that's another major thing, cos my parents wouldnt be able to afford the fees and expenses for my degree if i transfer from Malaysia to a university in the UK.
Im glad that im still keeping up with my new year resolution. Honestly i didnt neglect any of the resolutions; I hope i wont neglect any of them in the coming 6 months :B
I looked back the a blog I've created with my friends 4 years ago. It was pretty funny how i've matured over the past 4 years. IM GLAD I DID. haha. the things i wrote in the blog is so pointless AHAHAHA. i had goosebumps when i was reading the posts and watching a video we've created for the newspaper magazine. NO im not gonna tell you the link :P
I feel so sick. I'll tell you why in a minute.
Two days ago on Friday about 14 of us (the law students) and our law teachers (3 of them) went to this buffet restaurant Jimmy Spices and had dinner together. We went there by bus (TOOK US ONE WHOLE HOUR TO GET THERE) and the teachers went there by their cars (of course). it was pretty tiring and warm. The teachers only reached 15 minutes after we did, and we were sitting there (i was sitting with Mrs Westwood HAHAHA because all of my friends went to the other part of the table, leaving me and Amanjot to sit beside the teachers -.- ) awkwardly for a few minutes before we went to get our food. The teachers waited for ALL OF US to get the food, then only they went, because they said they had to look after our stuff. awwwww. they're really sweet. And then when we came back, they sat for another 5 minutes .___. ahahahaha. come to think of it, it's pretty funny! and when my friends were on their dessert, our teachers were only on their starters ahahaha. really funny. and when i asked mrs westwood to "get somemore food!" she went "alright, alright, i know you guys are trying to ditch us" hahahaha. aww our teachers are so cute. and i asked my law teacher whether it's his birthday the day before and he went " *frown* NO." i said we can treat him the dinner for his birthday but he said that's very nice, but i can treat him when i'm earning the same salary as him o__o that would take me ages. hahaha. and we sang him a birthday song, it was SO FUNNY.
we had a group picture after that, and the students and teachers went separate ways. the dinner was a little bit awkward (for me and amanjot only actually), but it's quite good actually. OH and i heard what the teachers were saying HAHAHA. i was eavesdropping ;) i heard they said how we're getting more mature and stuff :') but mainly they were talking about school stuff. haha.
Oh so i feel sick now, because of the dinner i guess. i think the food isnt for me, it made me have diarrhoea for 4-5 times yesterday and i still have mild stomache ache every now and then. and i feel like puking.
Oh yeah, on Friday we were doing this UCAS thingy, and i was asking the teacher about the reference thingy. She went "you're Ashleigh, aren't you?" O__O that's a bit scary and she went to ask my Psychology teacher (she's one of the tutors) about me. She said i'm a good student awwwww and im likely to get A* in my Psychology. Sigh. Please dont say that. I dont wanna disappoint you. But i'll try my best, i promise!
So that was kind of the last day of my AS year. Tmr, we're gonna start a new timetable, a fresh year! Not exactly fresh, but we're starting a new timetable and we're gonna be year 13 from tmr onwards. i hope it's gonna be good! i hope it's not a lot worse than i expect. i just wish that im in the same class with someone i know/close with, and have the same free period with some of them. No actually. I hope we're in the same class but not free period. Then i can do my hw during the free period. haha. And i saw some law handouts my teacher had prepared. they were on the cupboard in my law class. im actually pretty excited!! HEHEHE A2 LAW HERE I COME! A* I HOPE IM GETTING NEAR YOU AND CAN REACH YOU WITHIN A YEAR'S TIME! but i just hope that we dont have to do the debate.
Talking about period, IM GONNA HAVE MINE THIS WEEK. and it's prom this friday -.- pimples everywhere SIGH. but whatever.
oh yeah, my cousins came here from malaysia yesterday! it was so great to see them again :') they're like my brothers and sister. My closest cousins. because we grew up in the same town with them living just two streets away from my house. but they left yesterday :( to Cardiff. they might be coming back, but not sure.
im going to bathe now. bye! :)
